We work with the merchants most payment companies turn away.
Most of the merchants we work with are licensed, profitable and well run. The reason they struggle to get a merchant account has little to do with fraud. Their traffic just looks odd to a general-purpose processor: lots of small deposits, money going back out to the same card, customers in countries the processor has never looked at closely.
Before KyvraPay, the usual option for these merchants was a chain of resellers. Each one added a margin, and when an account got closed nobody in the chain would pick up the phone. We wanted to do it differently: hold the acquirer relationships ourselves, put the price in writing, and have the same analyst look after the account from the first call onwards.
It is not a glamorous business. What we are after is approval rates that stay where they were promised, chargeback ratios under the thresholds, and settlement that turns up on the day it is supposed to.
